Welcome to Lazy Daze - Just 90 minutes from Sydney and with a selection of pristine beaches all within a few minutes drive, this spectacular home is not far for you and your family to enjoy. Spend your days having a lakefront picnic by the water, paddle from the backyard, moor your boat off the private jetty or simply relax and take in the view. Beautifully styled throughout, the heart of your stay will surely be spent upstairs where you will find the fully equipped kitchen including induction cooktop, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher, open plan dining and living area which flows seamlessly onto the covered verandah soaking up one of the best views of Lake Macquarie you will find. Lake views abound from the bedroom which is also located on the upper level featuring a king size bed, two seater lounge, and direct access to the back balcony. Downstairs comprises the remaining bedrooms, bathroom, laundry and second living space which opens onto the backyard and alfresco area. To make your stay here even more relaxing why not soak your days away in the outdoor spa! Lazy Daze is truly is a home away from home, a place where you can spend a couple of nights or even a week or two. Comfortably sleeping 10 people, it’s suitable for 2 families or is equally ideal as a spacious, private family retreat. Ducted Air Con both up & downstairs which is a win for the summer months, 2 lounge rooms & a huge dinning room with plently of seating. The own private jetty is a bonus if you are there to enjoy water activities. I will mention (not that this is a negative) that the bedding configuration is slightly confusing when booking. As there is no photos of a listed queen room but you do see photos of a bunk room that isn't listed, so weren't entirely sure exactly what we were going to get. We ended up with all the listed rooms as well as the bunk room shown in photos. Like I said it wasn't a negative but just thought it deserved a mention as some potential guest might look past it as they aren't sure what they are going to get & I would hate for them to miss out on a great place to stay! Its location is great with a short 2 minute drive the local supermarket, bottle shop, take-away shop & bakery means would don't have to go very far to get the essentials. Came up when searching for 11 people but suited for 10 adults max, bunk bed for children only. Soap and shampoo in tiny small bottles not adequate for a home that can accommodate 12 people. Jan 5, 2021 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Laze daze Everything thing was great , the outside bins were full on our arrival we made it work but they were full also when we left The grass was cut while we were there with no catcher which left grass clippings all over the lawn that didn’t really worry us but it was difficult not to track them inside with 4 kids and adults Apart from this it was a great unwind and holiday Ps neighbours were very friendly and helpful ##### Nathan B. The house is great in that it can sleep four couples and two children. However a bit more attention to detail would have made the stay more enjoyable. The light and extractor fan above the cooktop didn’t work. As there are no restaurants nearby cooking at home was necessary. Also no platters, salad bowls etc. the bedside lamps in the double room did not work - no bulb in one and other didn’t work. Recycling bin was full. The lock in the bathroom upstairs didn’t work so door wouldn’t close. Small things but annoying. This was our second time staying at this house and a few upgrades to the basics will make a big difference. Hoping this feedback is taken as constructive criticism. Thanks ! Jo ##### Jo P. Everything sparkles, Beautiful home, loads of space and easy to wipe down and awesome temp control Absolutely Appreciated the labels on switches and controls Negatives Unfortunately we have to give a lower rating for cleanliness as the dishwasher was full upon arrival and dishes put away were dirty, bottom main bedroom was not cleaned( makeup on the bed and hair throughout it and the joining bathroom, we did notify the agent of this included pics and a video of the make up transferring onto a make up remover wipe ( to show it wasn’t a stain and hadn’t been washed ) but we only received an apology Considering the signs saying guests will be charged extra for cleaning fees and the already high cleaning deposit it is frustrating having to clean after others on my weekend away and having to apologise to my guests and give them a different room and still pay full price ( this doesn’t seem to be a consideration for the agent ) along with no hand soap ( only empty bottles in the bathroom watered down dish soap. ##### Ashley S. Reviewer Comments: Enjoy Lazy Daze was the perfect spot to relax, unwind and melt into the gorgeous lake vista. Extremely comfortable and clean home. Was perfect for our girls w/e but would also suit family holidays for one or two families. No need to leave the beautiful shores but there are nice cafes, restaurants and walks nearby. Absolutely couldn't fault the location or the view, it was brilliant.The rooms and layout were perfect for accommodating our extended family, without feeling like we were on top of each other. The kitchen was brilliant for preparing meals at home to enjoy on the balcony. We also made a few visits to the bakery, Foodworks and fish'n'chip shops around the corner, which were very handy.
