Main Bedroom with Queen Size Brass Bed and built in robe, second bedroom a family room with Single Bed and trio bunk with double bed and single bunk. All linen supplied. Modern newly upgraded bathroom with walking shower. No food provisions provided. Open family area with kitchen dining and lounge room with air conditioning. Close to shops and cafes in Strathalbyn. 10 minutes drive to Langhorne Creek Wine Region. Great quiet place to stay while exploring the wonders on the Fleurieu Peninsula and only 45 minutes to Adelaide city and 30 minutes to Goolwa beach. Monarto Zoo the largest open zoo in Australia is only 33 kms drive away. However it seemed like the presence of a mouse (we didn't see it but we were told about it) meant that the cleaning process may have been impeded. The blankets were a bit mucky/stained and the towels were not clean, with yellow stains and hairs on them. We found some clean ones in the cupboard though, so it didn't seem to be a problem. Fantastic outdoor sitting area with bbq, including fly wire. It is within walking distance to the shops, park and river. The bed was comfortable with plenty of extra blankets, should you need them (we didn’t). The house is clean, barring a few cobwebs. The owner was easy to contact and very friendly. Comfortable beds, sheer curtains in bedroom for daytime privacy. Excellent R/C air-con, WiFi & TV. Practical floorplan & secure backyard for pets, with a great deck to sit & relax. Downside: Bathroom taps (sink & shower) need replacing; they drip & are hard to turn on/off with arthritic hands. The long vertical blind in kitchen area is defective.
