AWD/4WD is HIGHLY recommended during the winter, the road leading to the house is gravel and there is a very steep hill to get up to the driveway. Cars with RWD or FWD may have trouble getting up the driveway with snow or ice. Woodland Retreat is a brand-new home with all of the modern touches you love and all of the character you crave. This home is warm and inviting–perfect for a quick getaway or extended family trip, work retreat or wellness refuge. The home features a gorgeous and expansive kitchen, perfect for entertaining and making memories with family and friends. It includes a center island with breakfast bar seating; ample countertops for prepping, all-new stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher for easy clean up. The living room is anchored by enormous windows that shower the room with light and views of the surrounding greenery. The room, with its double stacked windows features a wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating to gather around and enjoy. There is a first-floor office off of the living room for anyone looking to WFH while they visit. The bedrooms include: Primary bedroom with a King size bed and ensuite bathroom (rain shower, soaking tub) and walk in closet Bedroom 2: Queen size bed Bedroom 3: Queen size bed There is an additional guest bathroom on the first and second floor as well as a bathroom with a shower in the basement. Basement: Features everything you need to entertain yourselves–including a shuffleboard table, cozy couch and Smart TV. Outside, there is a Weber gas grill available, outdoor seating and a firepit with Adirondack chairs. The Modpool is made from a shipping container with aquarium glass on one side. Baby Equipment: At this property, we provide pack & play and high chair for your convenience. For any additional baby items, we highly recommend bringing your own or sending us a message in advance so we can recommend a nearby rental service. Please note, this property does have exterior cameras for safety and security. These are only located on the exterior of the property, never the interior, and will not be monitored during your stay unless an issue arises.
