I absolutely love this hotel. It's very quaint. The staff is very helpful and had great suggestions for dining in the area. The breakfast was great. Coffee was great and you can't beat the location.

We had a great stay at Scandic Gamla Stan. Knowing we would get into Stockholm before check-in, I contacted the hotel and they said they would be able to hold our bags, so we could explore, which is so amazing! When we got there, they actually said our room was ready, so we were able to check in early!! The room was small, but perfect. Very clean hotel in a great area, quiet, historic, lovely. On our last day they held our bags while we explored the city more before our flight. Very lovely, very accommodating hotel.

The breakfast was home made, fresh juice and fruit smoothies and lots of healthy choices with wholesome bread, jam, breakfast meats and delicious eggs. The coffee was also very good and the chef very hospitable and caring about great service and food!

Overall a good experience. Great location and amazing views from the rooftop! Surprisingly quiet given its a historic building and I thought the walls might be thin. Bathroom needed some more detailed cleaning (mould on the grout, hair in corners). Pillows and mattress topper also lumpy and too small.
