Located in the heart of Scotland, on the doorstep of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Parks, with the historic city of Stirling only a 10 minute drive away. The village offers the perfect opportunity to relax, with a traditional village store and local pub. David our host is a great host and communicator. When we got to the cottage he came and went over all the necessary information about the cottage. The WiFi worked perfectly for the four of us. David even provided breakfast staples so we hadn’t a need to venture out our first night. The cottage is located a mere hundred yards from the village shop which has everything you could need. The cottage is centrally located between Edinburgh and Glasgow for sightseeing. David has outfitted the cottage with everything one could need. The location was central to Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow. The equipment is comprehensive and the furnishings are very tasteful. The AGA cooker is fantastic and the garden is enchanting. The nearby Gannuck Inn (three houses down) and the shopping facilities in Stirling made our stay perfect. The host is very friendly and accommodating. By far the best accommodation we have ever had! The location is brilliant for exploring the area, with Sterling only 10 minutes away by car. The cottage itself was very well equipped, particularly the kitchen. David met us to show us around the cottage then left us to it. Everything was comfy, bed, couches, kitchen VERY well stocked, lovely garden. Villiage is lovely and nice staff and food at The Gargunnock Inn which is couple of doors away. Cottage was the perfect base to explore some of Scotland. Would 100% recommend and return. ##### S R. Comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Bright bathroom. Lovely garden. Quaint town with a great pub/restaurant 3 doors down, and easy distance to all of the sights and activities in the Stirling area. We were able to visit several areas well known and not so well known from this location. The cottage itself was immaculate and so well appointed with anything that you might need. The host meet us at check in and went over everything and answered our questions. He also sent us some very helpful information about local restaurants and sights to see.
