Estadio de Urubamba Tours and Activities

The Hotel Hacienda Cusco plaza is a nice old hotel in a great position only minutes walk from everything you need in Cusco. Breakfast is great and the entrance area is very nice. I felt that it was let down a little by the rooms. Our bathroom flooded because the shower curtains were too short. This does seem to be a Peru wide problem. We had a good view of the Plaza and the town but had to climb some stairs to get to the balcony. An unusual set up.

Location is excellent and is just a minute walk to the Bus station, Train Station and center. The AC was leaking water for the first 2 nights and was not working on the 3rd night when they shifted me to a new room. A floor fan was provided on request. The hotel is located right in front of train tracks and I have heard train go through a couple of times after 10 pm but it's not too bothersome if your room is situated on the stream side. Overall, I felt the price was too high for the quality of free breakfast and room. After staying for 3 nights they refused to provide an hour extension for checking out in spite of all the issues caused and have not even apologized nor compensated in anyway for the AC issues.
