The Hotel itself was good, Breakfast very good and staff in breakfast room very friendly. The big problem was the noise of traffic. The Window insulation was non-existent. Unfortunately we had room which faced the sea and the road. This is a fairly basic hotel at a not so basic price. There is no air-conditioning and it was hot and stuffy in the evenings. Elsewhere, even cheap hotels have good AC units above the door nowadays. The hotel is also a pub restaurant located about 10 minutes walk to the main town to the ferry terminal. The decor is pleasant but amenities are lacking. I had to ask the front desk on two occasions for toilet paper and for a small bottle of body wash. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the fish and chips was extremely mediocre. If I was told it came ready made from a supermarket and reheated I would believe you.
