Highly recommend if you are going to an event at the Dome. Such an older well maintained period property with such a friendly staff. We had just a very short walk, late at night. We felt safe the whole way.

The hotel is quite historical - a delight to look at the architecture, decor and photographs . As an old hotel, the room had some quirks, like a step up to the bathroom and doors that were locked that may have led to connecting room. A few steps up to the lobby to load in wasn't difficult, but might be difficult for some people. There were also steps from the entrance used to access the garage. The staff was friendly and efficient.

If you have a stay in downtown St. Louis, the Missouri Athletic Club may be your new favorite place to stay. Sitting in the halls of the century old Missouri Athletic Club, the entire property offers distinguished, charming, old school character, with comfortable rooms, and amenities. Befitting the class of the property, the staff are a genuine cut above; friendly, knowledgeable, so helpful. It was a pleasure having business with each desk agent, because they’re so fun to talk to. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable. Easy walking distance to Gateway Park, Busch Stadium, Enterprise Center, or the Federal Reserve. This location is great!

The hotel was beautiful. I can not stress that enough. However, when we went to bed, we did not sleep well. The A/C kicked off in the middle of the night, the matress was not that comfortable, and the street traffic was loud. Other than that it is a beautiful place to stay and the staff is amazing

Safe parking. Room was clean and comfortable but small. My only gripe would be that you can't access even the "casual" restaurant unless you wear a polo shirt so we couldn't get breakfast. Overall it was a nice stay here and the staff are friendly and professional. They offer a shuttle to and from the ballpark.

Love the property but it is old. Public areas are well maintained. The room we had was showing it's age. The sitting chairs need replacement. Nearly fell through when sitting the first time. The carpet is old and needs replaced. The bathroom... shower had dirty grout toilet bolts rusted leaving stains on the floor.

The hotel is in great location. It’s in a historic building and the room was no frills, clean, and perfectly fine. It’s downtown so road noise from revving engines is a thing. The staff is great and friendly, and vending machine prices were super cheap. Bed and pillows were comfy, towels and water pressure were fine. It had a big closet, which is something older hotels have. I’d definitely stay again.
