I love the old architecture of this hotel. Also, one of the very few that offer a free breakfast from the menu. It’s our 2nd time coming here and will definitely go again
Room was clean and stocked sufficienty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and the free breakfast was a first for us. Parking was very convenient. Overall the experience was great and we will definitely be staying there in the future.
I always stay here. Love the pub , food excellent. Old English style.. you can park right by your door in a court yard. Excellent for a yard. Excellent location. My dog loves it too
Older property undergoing renovations but comfortable

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This is an older motel and some efforts have been made, but the furnishings have seen better days. Should be noted, however, that the room was very clean. The included breakfast was very good . If you have a car the location is convenient. A good choice if you don’t want to splurge on one of the downtown hotels.
Clean, excellent staff, excellent food, free parking - would room here again.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
We found that the room was not very clean. The floors were grainy & needed a good wash.
The restaurant in the pub was excellent. I would rate the food and service as a 5 star. Was the best part of the stay.

Excellent for the location we needed & pub next door was a great service!
Front desk staff were friendly, room was tidy but not overly clean, AC was broken. Conveniently located in walking distance to the Churchill Park Music Festival.
The breakfast was great.. however the room's need to be updated, there was spray foam insulation around the AC conditioner in the window,no pot for a coffee in the morning, the arm chair very old and uncomfortable to sit in.. I'm sorry but I won't be staying there again ..
We would like to say a big thank you to our host and staff. They made us very welcome and were very friendly. Our meals were all very good and nothing was too much trouble if you wanted a small change to the meal in the welcoming restaurant, like extra salad instead of fries. The room was comfortable, but the bed was a bit soft for us, which is just our preference. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop and is within a 30 minute walk from Downtown for those that to do so. We would definitely stay again when we when we stay in St John's again on our next trip from England.
