A queen matress with fresh linens and towels are ready for your stay. A TV, recessed lighting, air conditioning and small fan are also newly added to our sites. We have installed large decks with railings in front of each container room which also have two adirondack chairs and table. The conainer rooms are a new upgrade, so all reviews prior to August 1st 2024 are from the previous nylon tents. Our Lameshur Campsite is conveniently located next to the national park for easy access to hiking trails and beaches. The closest beach being Salt Pond right down the road. There is a outdoor kitchen and lounge area that all campers can use. It has a full size fridge, big flat top grill, and outdoor dining area and bar seats. All utensils and cookware are provided along with fresh drinking water. Coffee pot and blender are also provided. A dartboard is ready for your enjoyment along with some board games. A single outdoor bamboo shower is stocked with shampoo and body soap. A single bathroom is located just past the kitchen/shower area. Both are in the shared spaces for the three glamping sites to use. A twin air mattress is available to sleep a 3rd guest for an extra fee. We are located on the furthest side away from the ferry on which you will arrive. We STRONGLY suggest renting a car. You can find our exact location on maps as Lameshur Cottages and Campsites. We had a terrific stay here! We used to love camping, but now our bodies love comfortable beds and air conditioning. This place has the best of both! The container room was completely comfortable. The kitchen area has a refrigerator so it was easy to keep supplies there. And you are surrounded by nature - deer, donkeys, goats, sugarbirds, toads... This site is located near Salt Pond Bay, the best beach on St. John, in my opinion, as well as the start to Ram Head trail, which is a gorgeous hike. It's is not at all commercial - no rentals or concessions - but the owner of the site has gear that you can borrow, including umbrellas, chairs floaties, and snorkel gear. (And you'll want snorkel gear because there is very cool snorkeling at Salt Pond Bay.) We hiked into Great Lameshur Beach but the beach is all rock. Definitely need a jeep/car and not a lot over on this side but we drove over to Trunk Bay/ Cinnamon Bay and highly recommend sunset at The Windmill Bar. Recommend Coral Bay restaurants as the closest to the property and taking a boat out to Lime Out. It was nice staying on the east side for a couple of nights to hit up salt pond and Lameshurs. Loved that we could use the refrigerator and they provided drinking water. They have a great set up and provide a lot of extras like beach chairs and charged battery packs so that we could charge our cell phones at night! Thank you! ##### Ryan O. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and we would hang out on the couches making breakfast each morning. Our hosts were extremely helpful before and during our stay. Bill and Emily welcomed us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the grounds. Everything was clean and neat. Thoughtful accessories for cooking and relaxing. Beautifully landscaped. Comfortable beds. Very close to many wonderful bays and hiking trails. We hiked to 6 bays and snorkeled each from this location. The area is very hilly and wildly beautiful. Hardly anyone in any of the beaches. And the snorkeling was as good as we have seen out near the points and we have seen a bit. Do not hesitate to book here. We enjoyed very much and hope to return. ##### Dianna R.
