Summary: Beneath the Mango Tree Villa is an immaculate island home showcasing beautiful stonework and classic Caribbean indoor-outdoor living. Enjoy a spacious covered veranda, sunny pool deck, and sweeping views of Great Cruz Bay and St. Thomas—perfect for sunsets and tropical breezes. Due to the layout and for safety, this villa welcomes guests aged 16 and older only. This Villa has battery back up power that will seamlessly switch to battery back up if the power goes out so guests can continue to enjoy a comfortable stay. For extended battery life, we do suggest limiting AC use during power outages. The Space: Beautiful mahogany French doors link the stunning veranda to the open-concept, fully air-conditioned great room, which features a well-appointed kitchen with counter seating, a charming dining area, and a comfortable living room for indoor entertaining. The master bedroom, located on the main floor, is elegantly decorated with a unique island stone outdoor garden shower, soaring cypress ceiling, custom mahogany wardrobes, and French doors that open to the veranda and ocean views. Just steps from the pool deck, the lower level features two identical, thoughtfully appointed bedrooms with private entries, en-suite baths, and AC. Large sliders offer lovely ocean views and lead to a covered deck, ideal for enjoying morning coffee or a good book. Guest Access: BookVI will arrange for a greeter to meet you at the villa for check-in, provide a tour, and address any questions about the property, as well as offer insights about the island. Arrangements will be tailored to your party size, arrival time, and familiarity with the area. Alternatively, BookVI offers a virtual check-in via FaceTime to review the villa and answer any questions. The Neighborhood: This beautifully landscaped, lush island home is just minutes from Cruz Bay’s shopping, restaurants, and beach bars, and a short drive to the famous North Shore beaches. Communication with the rental team was great from our first sign up until we left. The house and gardens are very well maintained - just such a pleasure in all ways. Beds comfortable, furniture clean, kitchen well stocked, grill clean and plenty of outdoor space - pool amazing. The two downstairs bedrooms are accessible from outside only but are air conditioned and lovely. Do not be concerned about the outdoor shower for the Master - it is a delight. Picked up and dropped off promptly. Had no issues at all with house. Exceeded expectations. We rented our jeep through BookVI as well and it was great. It is so thoughtfully provisioned with everything one might need for a week in paradise! From coolers and beach chairs, to enough wine glasses and new cooking pans, it was lovely. The view is spectacular and the pool is just amazing. The surprise of an outdoor shower for the primary bedroom made it feel even more like a luxurious vacation. This house was a great introduction. The house is about 10 minutes from Cruz Bay, so easily driveable for dinner. Also convenient for shopping, etc. The house itself is very comfortable and clean, and offers great views of Chocolate Hole and the sea beyond. The home and surrounding property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, well appointed with everything you’d need and more. Waking up to that view each morning was priceless! Communication with the property manager was very easy - they were quick to respond and very considerate when we had questions! Our flight was delayed and we were late arriving to the island - they communicated with us throughout the day to help us with any concerns the delay might cause with ferries and rental cars and so forth and met us at the ferry to get us to the house even though it was quite late. The perfectly decorated luxurious home was expertly located to be away from the noise of Cruz Bay, but only a quick drive when we wanted to do dinners or shopping. We rented the property's Jeep and that was so convenient to allow us to explore the island. Brandon and team were very responsive over text/email for anything we needed (like pizza delivery options, coordinating pick-ups, house questions, etc). The property has literally everything you need to explore, like snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels, bug spray or umbrellas. The property manager (Dabney) was always responsive, even when we got lost the 1st night making our way home from the grocery! The house was extremely well appointed. There weren’t any extras we had to go purchase. From the kitchen utensils, to snorkeling gear, to beach chairs, to speakers for great music, to candles, to placemats & lots of comfortable furniture for the back porch. The outdoor shower….we’ll, you have to experience for yourself! I’m in love! We watched the gorgeous sunsets with a drink @ the pool, not to mention taking a refreshing dip after morning yoga on the expansive covered porch. Within 15 minutes to most beaches & 10 minutes to numerous places to have dinner & drinks. It was just my husband but it was wonderful to go to one of the spare, cool rooms with blackout curtains to take an afternoon nap. The only slightly negative is there is a huge close hill & curve where trucks travel from 7-7 & would beep there horns warning traffic they were coming (which is completely necessary). We rented a 4x4 Jeep to get up the steep driveway to the residence & you definitely need it. We had a couples massage that was THE BEST massage my husband & I have ever had.
