The apartment was fantastic, exceptionally clean, spacious, included everything we needed, parking, a five minute walk to spoons…but it was that view that was amazing. Overlooking Porthminster Beach and the railway station. The weather wasn’t always great, but you can sit by the window with a cuppa and it’s feels like you’re on the beach, but keeping dry. And at night, lie on the sofa bed and listen to the waves. Great to be in the centre of St Ives and any questions, Marie was just a text away. ##### Chris P. The steep uphill walk from town was okay for us, but might be a problem for some people. The only other slight drawback of the apartment is that one must start the water heater well ahead of time if you want a hot shower. We sometimes forgot and got a cool one. (Note: Description says 4 minute walk to St. Ives Station. That’s the bus, not the train station.
