All the essentials were available in the apartment. The air conditioning & ceiling fans provided a comfortable environment. The host, Carl, provided quick and clear communications. The check in & out process was very easy. As history buffs we enjoyed hearing the periodic reenactment cannon fire in the distance. We also had the added enjoyment of watching, through the kitchen window, a Bald Eagle sitting high in a tree top. We named him "Maverick", should you have the opportunity to spot him as well. Aug 2, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy Owner pulled a bait and switch on me. The listing I booked is not what I was assigned. Honestly, I would have been okay with it if there hadn’t been so many issues. Aside from the mold in every single window and the decorative shower curtain my biggest issue was the unit has one small wall a/c unit in the living room. There was a heat advisory and the bedroom would not get cool enough to skep in there. The bathroom was even hotter because it is located in bedroom near the back.
