  • Your up north getaway starts here! Cozy 2 bedroom / 1 bath cottage on the south side of Hubbard Lake. Knotty pine throughout - gives a nice up-north rustic vibe! Full kitchen, spacious living room, queen bed in one room, full bed in 2nd.
    Private, wooded setting with abundant wildlife! Perfect for year-round fun! Only a short walk down the hill to the lake.
    Enjoy all the area has to offer - swimming, boating, fishing (driveway provides room for boat/trailer) and golf in the summer; hunting and color tours in fall; snow mobiling/ice fishing in winter. DNR boat launch within 1 mile of cottage. White Pine Golf Course, and area restaurants within 1-2 miles. Newly opened party store less than a mile away! Gas, grocery and convenience stores (DG) within 10 miles, and Alpena is only a 1/2 hour away. Book your getaway today!

Relaxing get away

This place is a perfect get away for the family and a fun return to hubbard lake after 5 years. The property manager is extremely friendly and attentive, house is extremely clean and organized, overall good place to stay to explore hubbard lake and/or to just relax. Will probably book again on our next visit to the area.

Cute Cabin and Excellent Location!!

This cabin is cozy and cute. Big enough for a family of 3 or 4, and super comfortable. It is in a great location, with access to driving around to see many different things. The area and neighborhood are quiet and peaceful. The woods behind and around the cabin are nice, you are not closely located to anyone else.

Perfect Place for a Quiet Getaway!

Welcoming, homey cabin with everything we needed and more. Tidy property with a nice picnic table and deck, fire ring, and firewood. The kitchen was well appointed, and the bathroom was clean. Every window had blinds, and they all worked! A few references were on hand to provide us with ideas for day trips and good meals. No overbearing rulebooks, and the WiFi password was in plain sight. There are curtains, not doors, providing privacy in the bedrooms. This was not a problem for us and added to the charm. We hope to visit again soon!

Cute little two bedroom house with full kitchen and a working bbq grill in the backyard. Comfortable couch and recliners in the living room so we could binge old shows on the Roku TV. Disappointed the washing machine is currently out of order, but the dryer works so we were able to just wash our clothes at a laundromat and bring them back to dry. Not much water pressure in the shower, probably on a well or something. This was a nice place to kick back for a short break on our road trip, and Alpena is just about a half hour drive away where you can shop and see the shipwreck history of the area. Very clean home, bed not extremely firm but not too soft either. The air conditioner is in the kitchen and there is a floor fan that can blow air into the two bedrooms, but it could use a longer cord to it could get a little closer. So not a lot of air circulation in the bedrooms at night even with the windows open. But summer will be over soon! Would definitely book this home again, it was a good visit.

We love staying at the Spruce cottage every time we come up to Hubbard Lake. You wake up to find deer right outside and a beautiful sunrise off of the lake. Alpena is only 35 minutes away with plenty of nice restaurants and shopping. What an awesome and cozy place will definitely be coming back.Thanks again for having us
