Overnight parking nearby approx. 1 block away. SL has an ordinance that bans parking in non-approved locations from 3 am until 6 am. As soon as we arrived we noticed a wasp nest on the overhang and we were having issues with the door- we later found out the door handle deadbolt was BROKEN. We also saw that some of the windows were unlockable. Inside the house, there was water damage almost everywhere, other people’s belongings, wood peeling. You can spend the entire trip without need for a car if you like to walk. 10-12 min walk to beach or 10 minute walk to town. Very safe, residential neighborhood. The only reason we’re knocking this to 4 stars is because there was a power issue (took out some of the lights but all the essentials including AC remained active) and cleanliness (unit could’ve used a scrub - quite a few spiders in every room). However, Daniel was incredibly responsive and attentive, bringing us additional lights, a tower fan, flashlights and having an electrician come out to assess. I imagine this will not happen again in the future and we’d happily stay here again. ##### Nicholas M.
