  • Come stay in a fabulous private home close to everything but in a very private setting in what feels like the country with lots of space and wildlife. Ten minutes to Northern Quest Casino and all the concerts and entertainment like Snoop Dogg, Tony Orlando, Pitbull, ZZ Top and Styx along with many others. Spokane has become a destination town with Hoopfest, Bloomsday, State B basketball and many other events. Gonzaga, EWU, Whitworth, WSU, Uof Idaho. Silverwood in Athol Idaho and 40 min from Coeurd'alene, Idaho. Closest short stay rental to the airport in Spokane. Close to Fairchild Airforce Base. 420 friendly outside of course. Wheelchair accessible including a wheelchair able shower. Ceiling fans, Electric heat and fireplace ALL brand new high end appliances. Including a sodastream refrigerator to make your own soda or sparkling carbonated filtered water. Granite counter tops with eating bar. Laundry room with brand new stackable washer and dryer. Large deck in private back yard. All on a quiet dead end street. Charcoal grill provided , please bring your own briquettes and starter fluid. We have outdoor cameras for your saftey and ours. We also like to get videos of any wildlfe passing by. Numerous lakes, golf courses, shopping and restaurants within minutes. Huge windows to view the occasional wildlife that passes by. Good for 1 person, 2 people, 3 people, 4 people, 5 people, 6 people, 7 people, 8 people, 9 people or 10 people for sleeping. It is also perfect for work and business meetings.
    Some pets are ok but ask before booking as we have a pet deposit and fee.
    Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 10:00 a.m. please send a quick message when you check in and when you check out. Early check in or late check out requests will be considered at the rate of $20.00 an hour. 5 minutes to Spokane Transit West Plains Transit Center Park and Ride. Small gatherings with approval from owners first.

Lisa’s place was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The place is perfect for bringing your pets. There was plenty of room and the laundry room was very helpful. The location is conveniently close to town and on a dead-end street but it had some businesses in the surrounding area, which is typical for Spokane.

Quiet and peaceful with great yard for the dog

If you like privacy and a large yard and field for the dog, this is a great place. Also only 12-15 minutes from downtown Spokane, so you can make this work under all circumstances. Lisa (host) is very responsive and easy to deal with. Would stay again if in the area.

Nice house clean and comfortable

Home was clean and bright. Comfortable although it could use a lower table or desk to use a laptop on. It has good access to the interstate. Lots of food options in airway heights. It worked well for our stay.

Great little gem outside of Spokane!

We had a great time at our stay! It comfortably slept everyone and the kids had a blast exploring the property as there is much to explore! We enjoyed the fact that it was outside of the Spokane area but close enough for a quick drive. Place was clean inside. We just ran into a small earwig issue in the lower part of the home which I informed Lisa about and she was quick to respond. We weren’t too surprised given the area of the home, so it didn’t bother us. Everyone had a blast and we would definitely come back!

Perfect Location and good amount of space for everyone

There were 4 of us. Kitchen was large enough for everyone to be in at the same time. Back porch was very nice for morning coffee. We used all 3 bedrooms, beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean. Lisa responded to my one question immediately via email right after I had made the reservation before our stay. Lisa also sent me a text asking how we liked everything. My response was a thumbs up :) My family went to Avista Stadium for a Spokane Indians Baseball game.

A little more tender loving care needed

The host was great to communicate with and the beds were clean and comfortable. Bring extra blankets because you get one thin bedspread. The heat worked well so we just turned that up. The house could use a good deep clean. I don’t want to bash this home because the host was so kind. I’ve already told the host about the need to clean the filters and the insides of the dishwasher. The bathrooms were only halfway clean when we arrived. They could get rid of some of the old broken furniture. The appliances were nice. The washer/dryer worked well. Some of the towels and washcloths need to be replaced. This home was decent but some things need to be addressed. With some work it could be a great home. We had a good stay, just not clean as I would have liked. Maybe a good deep clean by a professional service would be beneficial periodically.

Not impressed!

The day before our arrival I had to call to get address of the VRBO listing and any special instructions. Owner answered and said they were having trouble with main back door lock. She gave me the code and said if it didn’t work they’d leave a key under the mat. When we arrived the side back door was left open and unlocked. I called to report this to owner who seemed unconcerned. Never could get main back door to unlock and had no key for side back door. The listing was for 8 people, but 2 of those were on two fold down futons with no bedding available. One futon was in bedroom with King bed and no room to walk around bed when futon was opened. Very uncomfortable for our two teenagers, son is over 6’tall. After we checked out, owner called and asked why someone had put a nail in bathroom and hung a picture. Of course, no one in our party did any such thing! Location of this property is in a very bad neighborhood! Definitely would not recommend!

Great Quiet Place

This location was ideal for us as it was close to our adult children in the area. The beds were some of the most comfortable I have ever slept on (I even too the sheets off to see what kind of mattress it was so I could buy one!) The kitchen and appliances were top notch. The back deck was our favorite hang out. We were greeted each morning with a friendly deer that came to visit the yard. The home owner was easy to communicate with and was very friendly. The house was clean and well kept and just perfect for our family to hang out and visit.

Handicap friendly!!

On top of being a unique and beautiful property, it kept my wheelchair bound mother comfortable all weekend. We rented this specifically for the handicap accommodations and we couldn’t have felt more comfortable. Mom loved the shower and both porches. I loved the den with the 3rd bedroom that felt just a little removed from the rest of the home. And I unexpectedly had to bring my old dog, owner didn’t make a fuss about paying a pet deposit last minute which was very friendly of her! You won’t regret booking a stay here!

Just Okay

It was not as advertised. I rented this because of the handicapable part of the listing. There is no way I would have been able to get my mom's wheelchair up the ramp that they have so I am was glad that she was not able to attend as originally planned. The entrance is not handicapable due to the ramp being an old wire ramp with big low spots in it. The shower is accessable as noted. There are some very steep steps to go down to the 3rd bedroom and laundry room that no one handicapped would be able to navigate. The beds were super comfy and the linens were nice. It was mostly clean, however, I had to wipe down the counters before I could use them. I don't know if it was just dust or what, but there was dirt on the paper towels after I wiped down the counters. The dishes were nice, however, some of the utensils are broken and should be discarded, especially the wire wisk. We had plenty seasonings for cooking and really appreciated the cold bottled water in the fridge. Lisa was easy to work with and had great communication, which I really appreciate. The house was nice, but just not quite what was advertised. And, although it is right across from the airport the noise didn't bother us at all. Overall, I would likely stay here again as it is fairly close to Cheney and it's nice not to have to go all the way into Spokane.
