8.2/10 Very good! (557 reviews)
My experience overall with Marriott Bonvoy has been unfortunate. Starting with our stay during one of the hottest times of the year in Sacramento, we were assured via phone call to the property prior to arriving that the pool would be in working order. When we arrived, we were assured again the pool would be available for the stay, except for the day of check in due to maintenance. They directed us to another hotel on the property to use their pool, it was also closed. The manager had already left for the day but I was informed they would be in by 9am the following day. Around 10am I stopped by the front desk before leaving for the state fair; the manager had not arrived but I was informed by the front desk the pool would not be open for the remainder of my stay. I requested a phone call when the manager arrived which I never received. I called the hotel around 330 and the manager had already left for the day, I was upset and requested they call me and was told that I was not a priority and other things were going on at the hotel, the front desk also told me I was welcome to check out. At this time, we decided to find another place to stay and abandon our stay early. After our vacation, I reached out to Marriott to inform them of this situation, it has been 3weeks and no resolution. There was outreach via email from the property afterwards but I believe that this should be handled at a higher level, unfortunately that still has not gotten me a resolution.
