We were a large group group and needed some accommodation. I contacted the property 1 month in advance and did not receive any answer from the hotel manager. I sent a reminder email one week before travel date and still did not receive any answer. At the end the issue was sorted out after we arrived there, but I expect a manager to answer the corporate emails at least. On the other hand, hotel staff were all cooperative and cheerful, specially Anja and the other front desk staff who proved to be very professional and helpful.

Hotel offers the usual Scandic quality which is quite high. Hiowever, it is situated in a commercial area with no view to the sea. It is close to the highway and major streets, so it is easy to come and go. Staff speaks - besides Danish - also German and English. Rooms are cleaned on request only. Breakfast was OK, although I missed the Danish rolls. It offers English and Continental breakfast.

The hotels internal communication, in the context of refilling soap and unclogging the shower drain. Services (such as the aforementioned) had to be ordered the day before, but the soap bottle was opaque, thus you couldn’t tell when it was near to empty. Neither of these items were attended to by the hotel, in spite of a direct request.

Hallo, Personal ist sehr freundlich,das Frühstück ist mo bis fr gut. Das Hotel ist ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, und wirkt das es Stiefmütterlich behandelt wird.Sauberkeit lässt zu Wünschen. ,auf Anfrage werden gewünschte Sachen behoben. Aber es wird nur das nötigste gemacht. Das Fitnessstudio ist eine Gefahr es wird nicht richtig gewartet ein schleifendees Laufband und Defekte Geräte,und die anderen les können quasi keine 2 Leute trainieren . Trotzdem wahr Sonderburg schön , für eine Nacht ist das Hotel gut /ok

De havde vist klokket i vores reservation. så vi endte på en handicap-værelse længst væk fra alt (og hvorfor gør man det iøvrigt så besværligt for handicappede) Som ryger er man jaget vildt på Scandic. End ikke på deres udendørs servering i forbindelse med baren må man ryge. Næh man er placeret på parkeringspladsen lige foran hovedindgangen, hvor det eneste askebæger befinder sig (hvilket ikke giver nogen mening overhovedet, da alle ikkerygende gæster så skal passere røgtågerne - tåbeligt). Vi vil fremover stærkt overveje om vi overhovedet skal bruge Scandic igen.

Jeg var på Scandic Sønderborg med mine 2 børn, morgenmaden var lækker og der var noget for alle, poolen var børnene rigtig glade for og fedt at den har så længe åbent. Dagene brugte vi på at besøge Universe Science og Aquamundo som ligger 20 minutters kørsel derfra.
