At first I was sorry we booked this hotel because it's in the middle of nowhere. However, there are a couple of good restaurants and some good breakfast spots. The best part is that it's just down the road from the whale watching boats. We had an incredible experience, at least a dozen blue whales! The hotel was very quiet, comfortable, and clean, excellent staff. So I highly recommend!

It’s a great location, only a few minutes walk downhill to the beach or uphill to the Main Street with all the shops. Front desk staff was friendly, room was nice. Expensive but most places are in Carmel and you’re paying a premium for the location.
