About this property
Bellinger Cabin, Wooded getaway near Sisters, Central Oregon
The cabin is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home in the pine forest outside Sisters in Central Oregon. It’s a quiet, comfortable, spacious place, close to the amenities of Sisters and the mountains beyond, Bend, Smith Rock, and the wonders of Central Oregon. It's great for either hanging out or using as a home base for exploring the area. The interior is furnished with comfy furniture and some beautiful, nature-oriented artwork.
The large master bedroom has a king bed, wood flooring, and a spacious master bath. The other two bedrooms each have queen beds, and there is also a full-size sofa bed in the living room. It sleeps 8 easily and there are two mattresses for kids that can sleep 2-4 more. Each bedroom has a good-size dresser and a large closet.
The kitchen is well-furnished. We like to cook and have prepared our Thanksgiving feast there. There’s a full collection of cookware, knives, etc., dishes and utensils for 12, as well as a range (with oven), microwave oven, blender, mixer, fridge, dishwasher, and coffee maker. The dining table seats up to 12.
The living room, which is well-lit with plenty of space, has comfortable seating. The house is equipped with WiFi that you are welcome to use. Smart TV is provided for streaming services.
The deck in back of the house is a comfortable place to hang out, with deck tables and chairs. Enjoy the ponderosa forest, watch the bird life and the resident deer, or toss frisbees around the 2-acre property. There’s also a small porch in front of the house that’s a nice place to relax.

We had such a great home base while we attended a family wedding in Sisters. The location was easy to find, it was clean, and comfortable. Weather was great we were able to open windows and take in all that the property had to offer. We would stay here again on a future trip to the area.
We enjoyed our short stay. There are deer wandering by. Lots of board games for the kids to choose from. It was clean, stocked with plenty of dishes and pots and pans for cooking. The beds are comfortable. Overall very pleasant place to stay.
We had a wonderful visit with my son and his family from Alaska. They love central Oregon and are thinking of moving back down. Fantastic, relaxing place
This was the perfect location for us. It is in a quiet wooded area, away from the hustle & bustle of Sisters, yet close enough to enjoy the amenities the city has to offer. The house had plenty of space for our family of 5, as well as a good selection of toys, games, & puzzles for all ages. Would definitely stay there again!
We had a great time on this cabin. The house itself was very confortable and had lots of space. We enjoyed specially the various board games and toys that were available. The location is a bit secluded from Sisters, but not so much as to be a hassle or need a long drive. It was perfect for our family.
Convoyed here (3 generations) from BC and WA for a family reunion at Crooked River Ranch. Really lovely vrbo—great spaces for lots to hangout. Enjoyed the bbq and deck! Wonderful stay, sharing lots of laughs, fun, food, fellowship and family. 5 star recommendation! Beautiful town of Sisters. Loved it here. Lots to see and do! Would definitely stay here again! Thanks, and God Bless!
We stayed 3 nights in this cabin, we really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen and the house. We had the chance to see deers in the gardens.
The house is in a quite area so you can really relax and unwind.
We liked the location and the setting. The house was quite cozy despite temp near 0 Fahrenheit and no use of the wood stove. It’s a house my wife and daughters say they would like to use again in the future.
The house was roomy and comfortable for our family. We enjoyed some of the games and puzzles Christmas Eve and loved seeing wildlife out the windows - squirrels, rabbits and deer. Thank you
This was a good location to return to after a day of hiking in the Sisters area. Yes, its a few miles outside of town, but the reward is a quiet setting amongst the trees and plenty of space. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked and we cooked all breakfasts and dinners. Everything was exceptionally clean. Due to cool, cloudy weather and smoke from fires, we weren't able to take advantage of the decks, but they looked like inviting spaces under better circumstances. Beds very comfortable; plenty of great quality towels; strong WiFi; everything needed for our stay was there.
Huge master bedroom; nice place all the way around. Was concerned by prior posting about bedbugs but owner reassured me the problem was fully resolved as soon as she learned of it - and YES, I saw no evidence of it whatsoever. In fact, the entire week I was there I saw a total of 1 beetle and 1 fly in the house. TV is missing "normal" cable stations but has multiple apps for specific networks and shows. WiFi and internet worked well; cell phone showed down to 1 bar at 1 point but never quit working for me, so no harm and it often had 2-3 bars inside the house. Nearest neighbor house must be 200 yards or more away so great privacy and quiet. Also if you are hard of hearing, any noise you make won't bother anyone else. Great directions - found the house on first try, in the dark, never having been there before. Kitchen has all the appliances and utensils I could want. Was a bit shy on spices, so bring your own, but otherwise no issues. Would definitely stay there again. Good time from a very accommodating hostess.
Just returned home after a great stay at this property in Sisters. There were just two of us, so this spacious property provided us with plenty of room. The property was extremely clean and well stocked. There were dishes, towels, and bedding available for up to 12 individuals; however I would think the property would be most comfortable for 6 adults and 2 or 3 children. The mattresses were comfortable and there was a variety of pillows available. We prepared all but one of our meals on site, with one exception. All of the cookware, blenders, toasters, colanders, cooking utensils we needed were provided. An icemaker in the frig would have been nice, but ice cube trays were provided. Also a few more wine glasses could be handy, but we just handwashed our glasses after each use. (Every short-term rental I've encountered had wine glass shortages, LOL). The water quality and pressure was good.
As described the property is about 4 or 5 miles outside of Sisters, so we were careful with our meal planning, shopping and exploring The area where this home is located is up on quiet ridge above the Whychus Creek (previously known as Squaw Creek). As other have stated the there is a nice circular walk you can take from the home that provides nice views. For those who like a longer walk, there is a path going down to Whychus Creek from Mountain View Drive (marked by two large stones leaning against each other), but we didn't have the opportunity to explore this path.
