Upon arrival, the property was not clean and appeared to have been used by previous guests, which was frustrating since we were hoping to rest.However, the host responded very quickly and kindly to our urgent situation and was able to relocate us to another property that met our original agreement. I recommend that before each new guest arrives, the property be checked to ensure the cleaning team has completed their work properly, so this situation can be avoided in the future.Thank you, Craig, for your quick response and for resolving the situation efficiently. Despite this inconvenience, I would stay again at one of Craig’s properties. I bought an air freshener for the room, but that smoke smell ended up getting all over my clothes. I had to rewash everything when I got back. Overall very good experience. We didn't receive check in information until the day of check in after I messaged the host, which seems to be the property manager, two times first. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The room is 6 floors up and the elevator broke the first night we were there, which was tricky for us after we spent most of the day walking downtown. In the middle of the night, the microwave randomly turned on by itself scaring us half to death and would not turn off unless the door was left open.
