We offer clean, quality, and affordable short-term rentals in the Sioux Falls area with three years of hosting experience. This unit is located downtown near Minnesota Ave and 6th St. Unit four is one of five apartments in the building, all managed by us, ensuring we always know who's staying. Overview This spacious studio apartment comfortably accommodates two guests and features a private deck with a table and chairs that overlook downtown, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or an evening drink. Upon ascending the exterior stairs, you'll find the entrance to the unit. Inside, you'll enter a combined living, dining, bedroom, and kitchen area. Beyond the galley kitchen, there's an additional living space, a large closet, and a full bathroom. The bedroom area includes a queen bed, a loveseat, a 42" smart TV, and a dresser for your belongings. The kitchen is equipped with everything except a dishwasher and has an eat-in counter for two. The additional living space features a sofa and a 32" smart TV, with a full bathroom off to the side. Though compact, the bathroom offers a deep tub/shower combination, towel storage, and a beautiful view of downtown. The large walk-in closet provides ample space for clothing and luggage. Capacity This apartment comfortably sleeps two guests but can accommodate up to four if you bring a twin airbed and a pack n' play for an infant. Please note that this is a studio with no private bedroom. To ensure your safety and our preparation, we require all overnight guests to be registered. An unregistered guest fee of $150 will apply. If your group size changes, please let us know. Accessibility The apartment is accessed by a flight of exterior stairs. Once inside, everything is on one level except for a small step down into the walk-in closet. Parking Parking in downtown Sioux Falls is straightforward. We recommend using the back parking lot for the easiest access to the unit, with your vehicle visible from the apartment windows. Alternatively, there is street parking in front of the building if the lot is full. Please use only one space per group in the parking lot. Note that the building is on a hill leading to the parking lot. Pets Up to two pets are permitted to stay on the property. No other pets are permitted without prior consent. A pet fee of $40 applies. Unregistered pets will incur an $80 violation fee. Please register your pets appropriately. This helps us prep our space and maintain cleanliness following a pet's stay. Always have your pet leashed and clean up behind them. Heating/Cooling The unit features radiant heating and a window AC unit. Fans and lightweight linens are provided during summer, while additional heaters and warmer bedding are available in winter. Smoking/Illegal Activity To maintain a clean and safe environment, illegal activities are prohibited and will be reported to local authorities and Airbnb. Smoking is allowed outside only, with proper disposal of cigarette butts required. Indoor smoking will result in a $350 fee. Stay Duration Bookings are available for 1-30 nights. For longer stays, please contact us to discuss details. Building Structure Built in 1903, this building has a stable structure despite its age. Be aware that the foundation has settled, resulting in creaky, uneven floors. Bugs and Nuances You may occasionally encounter ants, spiders, fruit flies, or earwigs. We maintain cleanliness and regular pest control but cannot eliminate all pests. As the property is downtown, expect some noise from trains, sirens, and traffic. Thick curtains are provided for noise reduction, and earplugs are available if needed. Owner was prompt in calling for wi-fi reset, which did not work on check-inCould not find check-in time, did not get owner contact prior to move in, was given wrong lock combo but was able to get in with the wrong number, 1st time entering, but 2nd round of testing it... very frustrating!I came home at least 3 times to find the door unlocked, & hit lock button each time before leaving.I don't like dealing with problems, & if there are problems a direct # should be offered. If you don't have Google set up on your phone, it's difficult working with this site, since they send the code via google code, not a simple text.Would highly recommend leaving a # prior to check-in, replacing lock, & giving proper lock combo time of checkin. Had everything any one would need and then some.The only downfall would be the 3 parking spots for a 4 unit building. Unfortunately, because of a car break in during a previous trip to California this would keep us from booking again. Not only could we not park in the back behind the house, but the on street parking was limited and we had to park two buildings away. All in all was a great place. Very clean!
