Siesta key itself is a lovely get away, especially if you do it before tourist season is in full swing but the resort and condo were exceptional. The whole place was clean and comfortable with everything you need for your stay. The condo offered lots of cookware/utensils, etc as well as lots of kids beach toys, beach chairs, cooler, wagon and umbrella which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. The resort itself is very well maintained as well as the private beach. Clean, spacious well air conditioned and starter items including coffee pods, toliet paper, gargage bags, paper towels, etc that were very convenient to kick off our vacation. This unit was way bigger than I expected. It was located just outside the elevator, laundry and waste room. We brought our elderly mom so this was extremely convenient. The room had everything we needed and more. It had a beach towel for each person that we could use which was amazing because we forgot our own since we were in a hurry. Then I put our groceries in the refrigerator and said to my husband this is not cooling. I texted the owner and she was nice and said she could call an A/C guy if it didn’t cool down. I did text her the next morning it was cooler but as the day went on the temperature went back up. That’s when she let me know the unit had no power for a couple of days. The unit took two days to get at a temperature we could feel good. We did have to throw out about lunch meat and milk because it went bad.
