In this area you find only private homes, surrounded by luscious tropical vegetation. You will find modern appliances and everything you would expect in a well-equipped kitchen, e.g. stove, microwave, dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, garbage disposal, etc. In the utility room there is a washer and dryer. The master bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has a queen size bed (both are Stearns & Foster). There is not a third bedroom (we have a queen size Murphy Bed that serves as a third bed - it folds out for sleeping). The house is newly and very comfortable furnished and is well equipped with bed linens and towels. Just bring your personal items. It also has a full size pool table which is great if you happen to have a rainy day. The pool table was completely refurbished in January 2024 with new felt and proper leveling. Attached to the front of the house is your very private, screened in pool deck.. The patio furniture includes a bar/table with 6 chairs. The second story is totally independent of the first and is where the owners reside. Just a short walk takes you to Siesta Village. The stores there will meet all your vacation needs: swimwear, sandals and gifts, food, and beverages. We have a wide range of restaurants to choose from on Siesta Key. Please note: Minimum age to rent is now 25\. It was a little far for us to walk in the unbearable heat to the beach but I'm sure it's an enjoyable walk when it's not 100 degrees heat index. The owners were so friendly and helpful, and we had no issues whatsoever. The rental had everything we needed (including alllll the things for the beach- tent, chairs, chart, toys, etc.) and the house had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The kids really enjoyed the pool (they used it every day) and the pool table was a fun bonus! The town was so fun and offered many places to eat & shop. Olaf ice cream shop was a favorite! Upon entering the the property it smelled a bit musty. As we looked around we noticed one wall air-conditioning unit and one window unit. The property list air-conditioning. After about an hour we decided to reach VRBO about a refund. They contacted the owner who came down and spoke with us. After about another hour we decided we would not stay and the owner was kind enough to authorize VRBO to refund our money. The owner was pleasant and we felt bad but with the very hot and humid temps in Florida in late July we knew the bedroom with no air and the bathrooms with no air were going to be unbearable. Lots of beach chairs and a wagon.The hot tub was the best part of this property. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the pool at all because the water was too cold to get in. Beware the “3rd” bedroom is not a Murphy bed it is a mattress you take out of a drawer and throw on the floor in the living room. That was extremely disappointing. The ice machine in frig was not working properly but owners provided ice. Parking was a little difficult for my Tahoe. Some of pool floats needed to be replaced. We could not use available wagon to haul stuff to beach, it needs to be replaced. Beds were great, to well supply was great. TV's were a little difficult to use. Batteries on remotes were dead.
