Dark, gloomy and harsh. Receptionist was professional. The room was unacceptable. Very strong odor of cigarette smoke, dark, gloomy, outdated. I didn’t feel comfortable setting my luggage on the floor. My immediate thought was I need to find another hotel. Did not dare to unpack or touch anything in the room. Booked another hotel in Shizuoka while having dinner at a nearby restaurant.
