This area of town is very interesting and has a metro station about 7 min walking. The building is easy to identify at distance. Trying to wipe it showed that it was not a stain but must have happened recently. The sheets got changed after contacting the reception but it was not a great start to the stay. It would have been good if we were informed in advance that some sort of water tank maintenance was going to occur on the first day of our stay. There was no running water after 11pm which could have been an issue as we arrived quite late meaning it was a rush to get everyone in our group cleaned up after a long journey. The room was pretty decently sized with plenty of space. It's located inside an apartment building with good restaurants opposite the front door. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the station at Jing'An temple. The staff were friendly enough and pretty helpful and for the price, it's acceptable.
