I reached the hotel pretty early but I was not able to get an early check-in so the staff made some arrangement for me to shower at the gym and freshen up. Also, I am able to park my luggage at the concierge for the time being. The next day, I remember the room service lady reminded me to bring along a coat as the weather turns cold. Atay elsewhere The Hilton Shanghai is a perfectly acceptable hotel in a very convenient part of the city and the staff does its best to offer 5 star service. The big complaint with the hotel, and the reason I would question staying here again, is that their internet is practically useless. It disconnects constantly, making messenger services impossible to use effectively, and is so slow as to render all but the most basic internet services inoperable. Forget about keeping your files updated in the cloud and a large e-mail will keep your connection busy for the better part of a day.
