Our family was more into sight seeing and hiking spent a lot of time in the smoky mountains. But also close enough to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, which we did venture out too. This cabin was perfect for my small family two adults and two kids. Hot Tub was nice after a long day. Already planning our next trip to Tennessee. The cabin met all of our needs and provided a great experience and location in the middle of the tourist areas and the “peaceful side” of the valley. My wife and I had a great fall week in the mountains at the Hideout. The cabin was clean, peaceful, relaxing, and had everything we needed to use as a home base for a week of hiking, dining, and taking in all the "peaceful side" of GSMNP has to offer. We wore ourselves out hiking in the park during the day, and returned each night for peaceful recharging for the next day. Reservation and check-in process was a breeze, communication with the host was timely and on point all throughout the process.
