Beautiful views from the balconies. We saw a mama bear and her 4 cubs cross the road in front of the house and go down to the woods beside the house the very first day. But they never bothered us. The setup of the house was perfect for our multi-generation family of 9\. Bedroom for the grandparents on the main floor, a bedroom at each end of the upper floor for the adult children, and also bedrooms at each end of the bottom floor for the grandkids with lots of activities in between like air hockey, shuffleboard, pool, and ping pong. We contacted the help number, but was told to give it time. From Friday afternoon to Monday morning, it never cooled on the main level. If it had not been cloudy some, it would have been intolerable. Great location to see bears, but you had to be aware of your surroundings when going to your car. They even came on the porch and nothing was left out for them to find!
