This amazing 1229 sqft 2-story cabin offers every luxury and caters to the discerning traveler seeking a unique and luxurious vacation experience in the Smokies. The cabin is located just minutes from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Dollywood. Boasting amenities such as spectacular mountain views, a spacious yard with fire pit, hot tub, Wi-Fi throughout the cabin and more, you will surely find that Almost Heaven is the perfect Smoky Mountain getaway you’ve been searching for! There is parking for 2 vehicles and easy entry into the cabin. MAIN LEVEL: The entry level of the cabin features an open-plan living area, kitchen, dining area, 1 bedroom, full bath, washer/dryer and an amazing outdoor patio and yard. The living room features plush furniture, including a sleeper sofa, a large flat-screen HDTV, a wood-burning fireplace and beautiful views through the large windows. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, seating for 2 at the bar counter and all the cookware and tableware you need to make meal preparations a breeze! The dining room table offers enough seating for the whole group to enjoy your culinary masterpiece. The bedroom on this level offers a king bed, flat screen HDTV. There is also a full bathroom with tiled shower and a washer/dryer for your convenience. Enjoy a cookout on the gas grill located on the front deck. To the side, step onto the spacious patio area where you can relax in the soothing hot tub, or light up the outdoor gas fire pit in the yard and relax with friends and family while enjoying the magnificent views! It's really pretty at night with the string lights all around the patio area. UPPER LEVEL: Upstairs you will find an open loft game room and 1 bedroom. The loft area features an air hockey table, an arcade game and a cozy nook with a comfortable loveseat/twin sleeper for extra accommodations. The bedroom on this level offers a king bed, large HDTV and an attached full bathroom with walk-in tiled shower. Its a cute Lil cabin and very well equipped. It is posted to sleep 7 and even expecting tight it would be very tight for 7\. We had 5 and small dog and it was a little tight but manageable. For the price it was a good buy. We did have trouble with a couple things. There was no gas in the firepit so we didnt get to use it and really wanted to. The jets in the hot tub ran really weak and we were annoyed to find the smoke detecors chirping with bad batteries when we arrived at 11pm the first night. That was not pleasant and came at a bad time as we did also have major issue's with the driveway. The driveway has a hairpin turn and has an uneven corner. I turned in and where the driveway is unlevel hit the under belly of the back of my car and ultimately damaged my vehicle by breaking the trunk latch completely off. At this same spot, there was once a guardrail that is laying in the weeds. It would have kept me from turning in on the unlevel portion and I would have gone up the mountain and turned around coming in from the other direction. This should be put back up or a light put there or some kind of guarding. Its a couple hundred dollar fix for me, an immediate bad start to our vacation and an overall bad look for the property.
