Anshel hotel is great for staying at Bali, especially if this is your 1st time like me. The staff are all very friendly and this hotel is a quick stroll to restaurants and cafes thanks.

Hotel is good and clean, and you get breakfast untill 12pm. There's a pool, but it wasn't as clean as I would have preferred. Streets too narrow and smelly around the hotel, but good for gojek to take you around.

Need to update the photos no doors on toilet and shower very small no privacy. Normally like to sit by pool to read and swim for awhile no way we were going to do that. booked for 2 nights only stayed 1 left in the morning and stayed somewhere better.

Staff don't speak English. Manager lounges around doing nothing. Restaurant was closed so no breakfast, drinks etc. Towels and sheets with holes. Pool could be cleaner, deck around pool broken. Rooftop closed due to dangerous decking. Loud banging noise from pump room above our 5th floor room. Would not stay there again, even though it was cheap. I guess you get what you pay for.

The room is reasonably well appointed and the view is excellent, as is the location. That, however, is where it stops. The lift wasn't working and there was some poor excuse regarding a stand off with Otis. We were on the 5th floor and while steps don't bother us, if we'd had kids or the elderly with us it would have been impossible to stay there. Water pressure was extremely poor - needed to run around the shower to get wet - and no hot water whatsoever at times. Toilet malfunctioned as well. Cockroaches in the cupboard which unfortunately came home with us and needed fumigation, floors not swept or mopped, towels not provided on occasion, reception staff going missing so needed to grab our own key and needed to insist on them supplying pool towels even though it was still 10 mins until pool closing time. On top of that the roof top bar, a significant attraction when booking, does not exist and I doubt it ever has. The sign says "under renovation" but there is no indication of any work ever getting done. I would never, ever stay here again and will be warning all my contacts to stay away.

Elevator is out order during our 2 days stay. Have to carry the luggage up and down to 5th floor. Dirty floor in the room. I made a cup of tea from Hot water kettle in the room . After i drink it i found out that the inside of the ketle is rusty

밤비행기 타기 전에 스테이할 용도로 예약 했습니다. 오랫동안 묵기에는 좀 개인의 취향이겠겠지만 샤워시설과 변기시설에 문이 없고 방수커텐으로 되어 있었어요 계속 나가 있느라고 잠깐 있었지만 그렇게 편하진 않았습니다 위치는 조금 애매해요. 좋은 위치지만 골목길 안에 있어서 차도 막히고 걸어가기에 무척 가깝진 않아요.

Cheap, decent in good location

The restaurants weren't open, and the staff weren't very helpful in providing information but the rooms themselves were quite nice and it is in a great location. Good bang for your buck!

Second stay

3 day stay for the second time as i have been moving around Bali. I like the beds here and the shower is also good. A couple of laundrys and Mini marts with in a stones throw. Nothing to do with the hotel but the laundry named "Quick" was not so great looks like they washed my t-shirts with a pen in the machine and when I picked it up the clerk whined for a tip. There is another laundry across from the the mini mart but it was closed that day but every other day it seemed to be open. You are only a 5-10 min walk to main drags. Left to the beach right to the square heaps of shops and restaurants either way once you reach the main streets.

Great little find

It suited me fine enough nice updated room plan to stay again before my holidays are over. Yes it is a little off the main drag but a easy walk and only a couple bucks in a cab to return at night. The pool is nice lots of loungers and a Mini Market and laundry are only a stone's throw away. Never had breakfast so no comment and the rooftop was under renovations.
