I write you today so I may give some constructive criticism so future clients are prepared and understand what they are getting for their money or lack thereof. I will start with the only positive. The property itself meaning the location is absolutely beautiful. Very peaceful and serene. For this, I would rate it as a 10\. My concerns are listed below.1/ Check in was delayed until 4pm. You indicated in your message above that it was due to the cleaning crew. I find this rather laughable. The house was anything but clean. I would seriously consider a new crew.2/ As soon as we arrived and opened the door, The stench in the house was unbearable. We later learned that this house has a serious Sceptic tank issue that needs to be addressed. Each time we showed in the morning we had to open all door and windows for several hours so the smell could dissipate.3/ All dishes were in the dishwasher. We had to do your job. I pay and expect this to be done4/ All floors were filthy. They were not swept or washed. I generally wear white socks. Withing 1 hour of arriving, my socks were literally black. 5/ The electrical outlet where the coffee maker and toaster oven were located was not working. The toaster over had to be moved on top of the stove and the coffee maker had to be moved beside it.6/ The screen door facing the water is broken. The hydraulic piece was sticking out and I hurt my knee on the first day.7/ In the kitchen, you have tiles that are ##### Brian L. Séjour de 4 nuits en août 2025 ### 4/10 – Médiocre #### Angie M. 28 juill. 2025 Points faibles : Propreté #### Property Needs Attention - Upper Level too hot to use in summer On arrival in July 2025 property inside looked alright, exterior and interior maintenance has been neglected. To the credit of the management company(property is for sale) they provided a small credit based on our challenged experience. - Exterior needs washing and weed pulling and removal of goose poop on porch. Grill was not used as filthy in addition to windows not being washed in years. - Biggest challenge inside as the upper level does not get a/c and the king bed was unusable. Window sills were filled with dead and some live bees. - septic smell when using showers, dishwasher or toilet - nauseating during our stay…septic issue? - No top sheet on beds, 4 bath towels provided despite having more guest and no wash cloths- Blown fuse made kitchen outlets unusable- No info in unit with any contact details-Hairdryer not found as noted- Host (Management co) not very responsive ahead of check in and had no response to texts with property issues. Only after leaving a voicemail on day 2 did we get a call with instructions on how to reset fuse box ourselves. We had to go to store to buy more towels. Host told us on booking they did not have access to VRBO app to give check in details which meant we were stressed about when and how we would get the checkin details, which came via text after we asked.This felt like a neglected property and lacked a polished, welcoming feeling. Had to squeeze in lower bedrooms because upper King so hot.
