(2 reviews) The apartment was nice. Unfortunately, there was a leak in the apartment above which made this apartment smell bad. The host apologized profusely. I didn’t think it was going to be a problem. Unfortunately the workers they had upstairs working on the property were smoking heavily and most of my stay I could smell smoke and loud construction noise. I reached out a few times and they tried to get the workers to stop smoking, but it didn’t seem to work very well. If it were not for the unfortunate circumstances of the flooding with that smell and the constant smoke in the apartment I would’ve given this a five star review all day long. (13 reviews) I absolutely loved this hotel. 3 couples stayed here recently and the hotel was a standout for me, out of all the ones on the tour we did of Romania. The concierge, Mayer, was lovely, so helpful and professional. The hotel is appointed beautifully and is very comfortable. The welcome champagne was lovely too. If I return to Bucharest I will stay here again. It's close to a couple of good bars that serve food too. Big thanks to Mayer for making the stay so memorable.
