Welcome to The Yeti Hut! This is an adorable private backyard cottage in one of Seattle's most desirable locations. Yeti Hut has a WALKING SCORE OF 91!! The home is located one block north of University Village and within walking distance of Husky Stadium, light rail, and University of Washington. Bedrooms and main bath are located on the 1st floor. There is a custom garage door on the 2nd Floor open concept living and dining area. Spiral Staircase to a loft and a beautiful view of Mount Rainier! Blazing Bagels is right next door and we loved eating breakfast there. A bike/walking trail is also very close by which we also enjoyed for morning walks. Only downside was a lack of A/C on first floor where we slept. Not sure if there actually was A/C or if it just didn’t work. Upstairs had a window unit which kept that level cool. We had some very hot days during our stay so it made sleeping at night a little uncomfortable. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms fit our needs. We didn't cook there so not much to say on the kitchen other than the layout was nice. The hot water heater had a hard time keeping up with the 4 of us, so we had to space out showers to accommodate accordingly. There seem to only be AC upstairs in the living area, so we slept with the windows open since it was a great temperature while we were there. The cars packed on the street made it difficult at times to get in and out of the driveway but having the driveway to park at the door was very nice. The location was great and made it quick and easy to get to all the things downtown.
