Welcome to BB's house in Crownhill Seattle! The house is sitting in a large lot with mature garden fully fenced, surrounded by tall trees unlike typical homes in Seattle, lighting beautifully at night. You will feel like you are camping in the middle of the city! You will hear birds chirping in the morning, humming birds flying in and out. There is roofed decking area, very comfy sectional sofas, charcoal BBQ ready. This unit is our main unit with 3 bedrooms including the one with king size, two queen size bedrooms. Master bath for 2nd floor guest only(master suite). The second bath will be shared among your party. Please note that there is the ATTACHED UNIT in DOWNSTAIRS which has the private entrance. No common space is shared with your party. This unit may or may not be occupied during your stay. There is a designated backyard space for the guest in attached unit but you may still encounter other party as the backyard is not clearly separated. The house has oversized windows and ceiling windows, light filled all day! Highly efficient 2-stage furnace, and CENTRAL AC will make your stay comfortable without temperature swing. You will have a view of Olympic mountains, beautiful sunset from the living room and the second floor. Please enjoy HIFI/home theater system from 13 speakers, comparable to the theater like quality. There is a plenty of parking space for large party inside of house perimeter, accommodate more than 3cars. The house is just steps away to bus stop 24/7 rapid D-line to downtown and Ballard. Walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, playground, soccer field with jogging track and to the beach! Here are some of the highlights in detail. Outdoor space Newly finished walkways, deck and garden, beautiful slate tiled patio, garden is nicely lit at night as well. quiet and relaxing shaded by big trees. There is large sectional sofa in newly build Solarium, outdoor dinning table with radiant heater. Please note that we have basic rules to maximize comfort of your stay and keep the property in good condition for other guests. 0.Please respect our neighbors and other guests, quiet time is 10pm-7am. You may or may not hear noise from guest in unit below during your stay. 1.We don't allow any type of smoking, vaping, e-cigarette inside and outside of the house. Jongwoo was a friendly, informative host who provided us with lots of information on how to operate everything on the property before we arrived. The property itself was extremely clean, and we loved the quirky floorplan with the open spaces, lots of windows, and very serene, calm, minimalist decor. Lots of storage in the 2 bedrooms we used, and the beds were very comfortable. The property is within walking distance to 3 grocery stores (Grocery Outlet, Metropolitan Market, Safeway), and not far from some great restaurants we enjoyed (Cafe Munir, Larsen's Bakery, Razzi's Pizzeria, Frankie and Jo's). Even though it's across the street from a middle school, we didn't have any issues with traffic/noise. It did take us quite awhile to get to/from the property to I-5 because of so many traffic lights/stop signs going through residential areas, but that's the only issue we experienced. We did not get a chance to use the sauna, unfortunately, even though it was one of the perks of the rental, so I guess we'll have to come back another time! The house is very beautiful and clean, and boasts many internal comforts like automatic lighting, heated flooring, gas fireplace, and high end appliances. Location was convenient and outdoor space was beautiful. Nice little touches like having house slippers for guests and nice bath products in the bathroom. We dubbed this home “the zen house” and it is exactly that. Everything is as pictured. It’s extremely clean, bright, fresh and contains all the amenities that you could need, and even some you wouldn’t have imagined (house slippers). The layout of the home is a split level and all of the appliances and features are new and modern. The neighborhood is quiet and centrally located to many places of interests in Seattle. Like many other reviews, we too would’ve loved to spend more time in the outdoor area as it is beautifully kept and inviting to the senses. The host is friendly and fantastic with communicating in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again! ##### susan y. The home was very nice, beds comfortable and home just as pictured. We woke up with the sun each morning! My only suggestion for the owners would be to get blackout curtains! There was sound proofing work being done downstairs that we were warned about, so not an issue with us being gone all day. Unfortunately we could still hear the unit below after the sound proofing was done which I did inform the homeowner. That would not stop me from renting again in the future. ##### Teri B. It is obvious the owner truly cares about their guests. They even went as far as purchasing a playpen for our granddaughter to sleep in. We regret not getting to meet in person, but they were extremely accommodating through email and text. The home is centrally located. It was easy to get around to various sightseeing around Seattle. We played tourists so much that we only used the home in the evenings to crash and refresh before heading out again. The yard is very beautiful and we wanted to spend more time there, but were just too busy then the evening weather cooled off. The home is built on many levels with stairs to each. This is beautiful but can cause problems with small children or older visitiors but we were just very careful and enjoyed it! The hosts even left chocolates for my birthday. How thoughtful!
