The couch is too leathery and slippery, not a good sleeping couch if you are coming with a large party. On top of that the carpet is smelly and dirty. And all the junks in the closets need to be cleaned out :( I guess it'd probably just another challenge living in Seattle downtown but since the apartment is old, it doesn't have a good AC system, The condo provides the AC machine but it made sounds but fortunately didn't affect too much of the sleep. On the other side, some good points, Kitchen seems to be clean and renovated. Customer support was good even though we had a lot of complaints about the apartment. They brought us more sheets and toiletries swiftly same day upon request. About location, it's close to main Pike street and to some night life, but while it's walkable, it's def not safe to do so at night. We made many of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The location is also unbelievable. It is steps away to so many bars, cafes, restaurants, and music venues. It's not a brand new apartment, but very servicable, especially since we weren't spending long amounts of time there. We could not get the heat to turn down. The window let a ton of noise through. Noone showed up to help so we had to figure it out ourselves. Baseboards in one bedroom were pulled away from the wall. I could go on but suffice it to say I wouldn't pick this unit again. For what we paid it wasn't a great value. ##### Ben M. May 3, 2024 #### Needs some repairs and attention to detail The second bedroom (the one with two twin beds) didn't have a working window cover - the shade was broken and sitting in the bottom of the window. The windows didn't shut properly - you could feel cold air from the gap - and that let in noise but it's tolerable if you bring ear plugs. Couldn't find a thermostat but the temperature was OK. No ladder or stool for reaching the top-level shelves in kitchen. No bath mats, ended up using a towel. The air register on the wall left of the fridge looked like it had never been cleaned, otherwise the place was clean.
