This was my first time at a bed and breakfast, I was traveling with my 20 year old daughter and she really wanted to stay there so we did! The room was spacious and clean and had good amenities, some of the furniture is original to the house so it was nice to feel the history, the owner was very nice and accommodated our request to keep our bags in the library room and return the key 2 hours after normal checkout time (we needed the key to re-enter the building), breakfast was nice and different from day to day, coffee and multiple variations of teas were available but I am sorry the coffee was watery, they did provide instant coffee to make it stronger but we just went out for coffee after breakfast, the manor is charming with old but well kept furniture and very nice decor, they have a very cute super friendly golden retriever and we had so much fun playing with him every morning, I wish we had access to the history of the manor, I googled it and found out it was built in 1909 by a chemical engineer, there are a lot of coffee shops and restaurants at a short walking distance and u can take the bus to downtown and walk to pike place and honestly you can even then walk to pike place, we mostly Uber’ed but we took the bus and train and monorail one time each, overall, if u r a bed and breakfast kind of person, this is a really great option ##### Radwa El Séjour de 4 nuits en octobre 2025 ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Breta 13 oct. 2025 Points forts : Propreté, service et personnel et commodités. The location worked out well — it’s in a quiet neighborhood, but still convenient for getting around. This was a first stop on a big road drip in Seattle and BC. When we arrived we were absolutely stunned at how lovely the guest house was. It is like stepping back in time 100 years or more - original features and decor everywhere. The location is spot on - loads of bars and restaurants in Capitol Hill all within walking distance, a nice park 10 minutes away and a bus stop that takes you right upto Pike Place. Breakfast was very nice - my only observation is we could have done with a bit more of it - but thats being a bit picky.
