A friend travelling from out of the country stayed here and I was so excited to share it with my book club, girlfriends! The cottage is so very lovely. The many windows wrapped around the cottage make it incredibly bright. It was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and incredibly welcoming. The kitchen/bathrooms were well stocked. We enjoyed sitting outside during the day and evening. We were also lucky enough to be able to swim in September! The hosts were gracious and communication was prompt. The information left for us not only gave a detailed guide to our stay, it shared the history of The Bickle Cottage. This made us feel at home. Our experience was nothing short of BRILLIANT! I can’t even put into words how perfectly this place delivered.Watching my mom step into the water—over and over again—for the first time in years, it was something I wasn’t sure we’d ever see again, and it meant the world to us.The Bickell sisters are truly something special: warm, thoughtful, and so attentive. The Bickle sisters were very hospitable and I was able to do an early check in to set up everything before coming back to the cottage with my husband. The location was perfect bc it was 1 hour outside of the gta. The cottage was very clean and love the decor in the home. You can really feel the amount of love that’s put into their cottage. It was great that we were able to have a fire outside in the month of January and during the day walked outside on the frozen lake. I’m sure we will be back again.
