The atmosphere felt like home. Tina was warm, welcoming to everyone and ensured our stay was comfortable. The room was a bit small, and on the top level (all stairs), but it was comfortable and clean. The beds were very cosy. Closing the window shut out the noisy seagulls. The appliances worked as expected. We had to figure out how to turn on the shower. A small fridge and a microwave oven would have been perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and town centre. Really enjoyed our stay and we couldn't ask for a more. Room was small but beautifully formed. Breakfast fantastic. Under fifteen minutes walk into town or onto the beach; lovely gardens to visit nearby. We had a fabulous stay here. The property is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our room was a good size with a nice, spacious bathroom and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent, good choices and quality. Tina was the icing on the cake, a great host, friendly, warm and welcoming. We stayed here to go to a concert, we were able to walk to the north side of Scarborough, however it was a good 30 minutes for us, so maybe a car or taxi ride for anyone who cannot walk too far. The hotel was small but our room was fine for us, the bathroom was quite small and would be a challenge for the larger person, or someone tall. Our check in and out was fine and breakfast was lovely, cooked to order by the filling in of a slip the night before. The room was nice and clean, TV a decent size and a tea and coffee tray on the dressing table, all good.
