"The room had a strong musky smell,some of the electrical outlets were worn out need to be replaced,the fan in the heater/ air conditioner was making a loud grinding noise when it kicked in had to shut it off,the vending machines down stairs were out of order,"

"The room had broken tiles in the bathroom, the floor was sticky, there was sticky purple syrup looking stuff on the walls and doors, the shower barely worked, the tap in the shower dripped the whole time we were there, there is no sound proofing so you could here everything in the halls and neighbouring rooms. We were not notified that the door to the pool gets locked from the pool side so when it happened it sounded like someone was trying to break into our room. The guy at front desk was very nice, smiling, cheerful and seemed to overall enjoy his job and upgraded our room free of charge and gave us a room off the pool. Son enjoyed the pool but no extra towels so he had to use our room towels. This hotel was nice and close to the airport about a 5 minute drive but will be looking for other options if we ever need to stay close to the airport."

"My vehicle was vandalized which wasn't a issue of the hotel other than there are no cameras in a U shaped lot. Cameras need to be install with motion detectors and a flash that indicates a photo was taken. This was my second stay for an annual event for our organization. I don't believe I will be here again."

Sandman Signature Saskatoon South Hotel

6/10 Okay

"First off, the entire property offers only 2 handicap parking spots, if you require one of those, good luck. I choose this hotel because it was listed at VIP Access property and I was suppose to received a $17 food and beverage credit. In the past I received a coupon which I could use at Chops or Dennie’s. At check in when I asked about this, the front desk clerk just said no, I am not getting any. I mentioned that according to the Expedia listing I will receive this credit, she did not care and said I need to be member of the Sandman reward program. Any attempt to get management to comment remain unanswered. I guess this make my decision easier when I look for a hotel on my next trip in 3 weeks. Next the room payout (room 301) was strange. The bed was straight in from the door. Your head would be by the door and any light shining through would shine right into your face. This is an odd setup. In other hotels the bed would be on the other side of the room and the furniture would be where the headboard was."
