The room we had looked out over the entrance and was large and clean but lacked style / a plushness considering it’s the best hotel in town. "It is a pleasure to write a review of Casa das Capelas. It is a large and beautiful, fully renovated, historical building, set in lovely grounds. My excellent room looked out over rolling countryside. So peaceful. And the owners were extremely hospitable. There is a great patio to have a glass of wine, meet a few locals and eat a light dinner. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in the area."

"Beautiful historic hotel with amazing views and a fantastic sunset. Staff was very nice and helpful (were upgraded to a nicer room for low cost). Breakfast was so good with “make to order” options. Pool area was lovely. It is a climb to get to the hotel from town so wouldn’t recommend if you don’t plan to drive to town. On-site dining options are wonderful. Perfect stay!"
