This cottage is centrally located and is a 3-minute walk to the beach and just a 5-minute walk to downtown Seaside, Florida with over 35 shops and dining options just steps from your front door. Park your car and walk to all things Seaside, Florida. This studio second-floor walk-up makes for a comfortable stay with a completely renovated open floor plan. There is a renovated kitchen featuring a large quartz center island with bar seating for four and a full kitchen complete with an electric four-burner stove, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, and a full-size refrigerator. There is a renovated full bathroom with built-in storage, a single vanity, and a glass-enclosed walk-in shower. The main studio area is surrounded by windows, giving the space a brigh,t beachy vibe. The main area has a king bed, dresser, flat screen TV, and side tables, all you need for a quick beach escape with a prime location. There is also a covered Juliette balcony at the front of the cottage with two seats, for some additional outdoor handout space. Additional items - outdoor shower and private charcoal grill at the rear of the studio cottage. \*This cottage may also be rented with the main Drift Away cottages for additional space. Drift Away (5 bedroom), Drift Away 4 (4 bedroom), Drift Away Suite (1 bedroom). All Drift Away cottages share a washer/dryer. There is shared driveway parking for this unit. Drift 4 and Drift 1 may also be rented at the same time, and guests will have first-come/first-served driveway parking. We were just steps away from a private beach entrance(codes to private bathroom on the beach too!). We felt like VIPs the whole time. We really enjoyed the included bikes and welcome kit. Our only complaint was that the actual title/heading of the listing said “pet friendly” so that was why we booked this property for three weeks. Upon arrival our keypad code did not work and it failed a couple of times after. At one point we were stuck outside in the rain with two small dogs. We mentioned this in our voicemail requesting a call back and a working code. The call back came from Amanda at “The Homeowners Collective” management team. Apparently the listing was NOT pet friendly even though that was in the title on VRBO. Not our fault but Amanda was not very friendly about it at all and then demanded an additional 275 bucks pet cleaning fee on top of the thousands we had already paid. Clearly we would not have booked a non friendly space for three weeks with two tiny dogs. Amanda was kinda rude and unpleasant to deal with and made us feel like she was doing us some sort of favor by stating that because the listing said “pet friendly” they would honor our reservation but it was (a according to Amanda) NOT a pet frorbdit rental. Other than that unpleasant encounter and keypad code issues, we were very happy with the unit itself and left it clean and tidy and did the laundry, including washing the futon slipcover for fear of any additional charges.
