We stayed 4 days with our family on our first visit to Costa Rica. We enjoyed the natural beauty and the abundance of birds we saw from the expansive deck. The owner's knowledge and communication helped us plan for an unforgettable family adventure. We enjoyed our guide/driver Antonio's efforts and company so much we shared dinner together one night. Although new to his role, he will become an outstanding guide. He took the extra effort of making sure we had plenty of photographs of our group to remember the experience. We opted to stay in and just enjoy all the house had to offer, and we took full advantage: dinner by Yami (delicious, and lots of it!), airport transfer for some of our party, couples massage, a few uses of the tub, tons of cloud watching, sloth searching (unfortunately we didn’t find him) and waterfall swimming. We ate at some of the local restaurants, which were excellent (most notably Carnitas Chani and the Mexican place next to El Rio (can’t remember the name). It was so relaxing and just what we needed.
