And since it's on beautiful Sanibel Island, you'll also enjoy relaxing days at the beach during your extended stay. The Recovery Room home is located in the Shell Harbor neighborhood, near the causeway entrance to Sanibel Island. With direct access to the Gulf of Mexico, this 2 bedroom, 2 bath (plus den) pool home is ideal for avid boaters. The dock may or may not be suitable for kayak use. Our clear dark skies are ideal for stargazing, and you can sit in the front yard or stroll over to the nearby Sanibel Marina and watch SpaceX rocket launches year round. In addition to panoramic views of the waterways from the living room, family room, kitchen and lanai, the Recovery Room has a boat dock and seawalls that are perfect for fishing, dolphin watching and enjoying sunsets. The formal living room seats 5 comfortably, and has beautiful views of the pool and waterway. In addition, the family room seats 6, and has a flat panel TV and water views. The fully-equipped kitchen features Kitchen-Aid stainless steel appliances, including a french door refrigerator with ice-maker and water dispenser, Painted Lady granite countertops, and a view of the pool and waterways. The laundry room is just off of the kitchen, and it has a stack washer/dryer, and provides access to the 2-car garage. The Primary bedroom has a King Bed, en-suite bath with shower, tv and a lovely view of the pool and waterways. The guest bedroom also has a King Bed, tv, and the guest bath is just across the hall. The bathroom has access to the screened lanai and pool deck. The screened lanai has long views of the Shell Harbor canals, and the pool has solar and electric heat, making it comfortable for year-round swimming. There is a bbq grill on the lanai as well. The boat dock is perfect for fishing, and there is water and electric available should you bring your boat along. Shell Harbor its own private beach access that is a short distance by bicycle or car. A complimentary parking permit is provided for your use. We know it is important for you to stay in touch with the outside world while you're here, so we provide complimentary Starlink satellite internet service. The Recovery Room is professionally managed by Cottages to Castles of Sanibel & Captiva. Since 1997, they've been making sure that each stay is a memorable one. This home is zoned by the City of Sanibel for minimum 28-night rental. No Exceptions. The Recovery Room is on a cul-de-sac in a pet-friendly neighborhood. Your doggie is welcome at the Recovery Room, with prior approval of the Owner and Cottages to Castles. Payment of a non-refundable pet fee is required. The non-refundable fee is based on the length of your stay and the number of doggies in residence and/or visiting the property. Weight limit and breed restrictions may be applicable. May 19, 2018 #### Amazing location This house was exactly what we expected. The location on the canal was perfect, with frequent signing of manatee and dolphins right in front of the home. We were able to ride our bikes to the shell harbour's beach on the ocean as well as the lighthouse beach. The island is very bike friendly, with a dedicated bike/walking path along the main road. While we were there we rented a boat and kept it docked in front of the house which was very convenient. We stayed in the home for a month and I was worried about sleeping in another bed for that long. No need to worry, both the king size beds were very comfortable. The trundle bed and the extra twin in the den however was not very comfortable. We only used this for 2 nights, I think we would have preferred a blow up in the den. The kitchen had everything we needed for all the meals we prepared and the grill outside was used frequently. The appliances were a little dated but functional. I loved being able to eat dinner outside in the screened in porch while watching for animals and boats going by. We had waterfront dining every night! Also having a private pool was great for playing with the grandkids. Sharon at Cottages to Castles was very responsive during our stay. She kept us updated on deliveries, as new furniture was delivered. Overall we were delighted with this home and would definitely stay here again ##### Jodi R.
