Nestled close to the Snowbird ski lifts, these ski-in/ski-out condos offer guests the best access to the slopes of Snowbird, a free shuttle ride and ski in access from Alta for seasoned skiers, and a luxury retreat for an Alta and Snowbird vacation. This spacious 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom Snowbird condo is a wonderful option for small groups or vacationing families. There is plenty of room to come home to and call your own, flexible sleeping spaces, and easy ski in/ski out access for an unmatched vacation to Snowbird Resort and the Alta ski area. The open concept living area is beautifully appointed with modern interiors, a cozy stone clad fireplace, a 40” flat screen TV, dedicated dining area with seating for 6, and a fully equipped kitchen for convenient dining in on vacation. The views of Utah's Wasatch mountains are incredible from every angle! The View #20 comfortably accommodates a maximum of 6 guests in 2 en-suite bedrooms. The master suite may have you choosing between a lazy day in bed snuggled up gazing at the mountain views - or floating through the perfect pow that makes Utah's Alta-Snowbird ski area one of the top powder destinations in the world! Other guest amenities at the View condos include an electric fireplace in the master bedroom , a wood burning fireplace in the living room, high-speed fiber internet, ski locker, and an in-unit washer/dryer for guest convenience. The View #20 Accommodation: 2 Bedrooms – 3 Bathrooms Bedroom #1 – King Bed (or two twins) Bedroom #2 – Three Twins (two can convert to king) Living Room – Queen Sofa-bed Maximum Occupancy: 6 Ski Area Information WINTER: Ski in Ski Out to Snowbird (conditions permitting). Alta is a short shuttle away. SUMMER: Easy access to hiking and biking. ALTA SHUTTLE: Alta Resort Shuttle runs mid-December to early April. Call our office for specific dates. PARKING: There is outdoor, uncovered parking for one vehicle per rental unit. Oversize vehicles must be parked off-site. NEARBY PROPERTIES: Palace de Pow, Village at Sugarplum #6 or Superior Point #2F. The View Condominiums are ski in/ski out to Snowbird - arguably the best ski in/ski out there is to Snowbird. You don't need to be an expert skier but, you do need to be an intermediate skier to be able to take advantage of this access. So, how do you ski to Snowbird? The View is located at the very end of Blackjack Road. The trail to Snowbird starts at the end of this road and is called the Condo Bypass on the Snowbird trail map. The Condo Bypass is a short run that joins up with the bottom of Whodunnit. From there it is a short distance to Peruvian Express, The Snowbird Center and Tram or you can continue downhill over to the Gad Valley (Gadzoom, Mid-Gad, and the Wilbere lifts). So...basically, you walk out the door to The View, take a right and put on your skis. To ski back to The View, follow Middle Chips Run to the intersection with Think Young, and Whodunnit (signed as: peruvian entrance to blackjack). Make a right hand turn here. Continue to follow the wide open slope as it soon funnels down to a cat track, past a slow sign. Continue on the cat track following Condo Access trail, not dropping into Whodunnit. You have made your way back to Blackjack Rd, and The View Condominiums. Alternatively, for advanced and expert Skiers, ski any terrain in the Upper Peruvian Gulch, staying skiers right at the Backdoor/Blackjack traverse gate. And how do you get to Alta? The Alta Resort Shuttle has a pick up spot right outside the door to the View Condominiums. This shuttle makes a continuous loop of the Bypass Road during daytime hours. The shuttle runs continuously during the day. It will typically take just a few minutes to get up to the Collins or Sunnyside base areas at Alta. After skiing, you can utilize this same shuttle to bring you back to the property or you can ski home from Alta via an off-piste advanced run. The Alta Resort Shuttle runs between mid December to early April only. Special Notes: As with any of the runs at Alta and Snowbird, access is based on the current conditions. The facility was perfect for our group of five adults - large enough to offer space when wanted, cozy enough to let us all watch the Olympics together. The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and accessories. Skiing in from Snowbird was easy, but not available from Alta. Skiing out required a bit of a trek or an early morning downhill chute. There is a shuttle on call for Alta - very responsive and very informative drivers. Took less than five minutes to get to the Wildcat base at Alta. All in all, a great stay. ##### John S. Only minor complaint was that two of the three twin beds were great but the third was not. Probably needs to be replaced with a higher quality mattress.
