"The ladies at the activity desk and the staff at the restaurant are very friendly and helpful. The property is showing signs of aging, and needs some maintenance and repairs. Our specific unit needs some upgrades and replacements (mattress, chairs, faucets, etc...). The lighthouse as a whole is great, as there is a more private gym and pool facility. The property itself is in a great location, being away from the hustle of everything. Getting through traffic to get there sucks, but it's nice and quiet. There needs to be some effort to clean their section of Dawn beach though."

"Holland house was a nice stay but we were disappointed with the breakfast that’s included. The breakfast would take us almost an hour to get and to top it off the breakfast would come out cold after waiting all that time. But besides that the hotel is a good place to stay for a couple of days.."

"Our room was a Deluxe room with Ocean View which faced the ocean with a view of the pool side. Loved this as could also hear the music from outside. Very clean and spacious. The staff were so friendly and approachable. At the beach area the staff/waiter/waitress were amazing, very upbeat and created an incredible happy, relaxing atmosphere. One of the staff noticed sun burn on my granddaughter and said he will get the "doctor" lol and brought another waiter whose name I dont recall but started with a "C" (of Indian descent), this gentleman was so caring he brought aloe for her to use and made sure there was ice in a bucket to keep it cool. The restaurants were great. Felt very safe there, great resort for family. The towel staff were very nice. This resort was absolutely amazing, everything was flawless. Would go back there in a heart beat."

"My Sonesta Maho vacation was amazing! From the check-in to the actual 6 night stay to the check-out, no issues or complaints. Our room was cleaned daily, the food was good, the gym was sufficient for my use and I had a great time using the pool daily. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely revisit this resort. "
