This extraordinary, luxury vacation home is brand new and sparkling clean! It’s farmhouse style on the outside, but bright, open and modern inside. The home affords breathtaking views of the Buffalo River Valley and manicured grounds all around. The expansive, private-park setting is shared with just three other cabins. THE LAND When you stay at Sky Hawk Ridge, you won't stay inside for long. Roam the land and discover the wonders of the beautiful landscape. Enjoy misty morning walks through dew-covered fields. Watch radiant sunsets over Ozark Mountains. When you walk along Sky Hawk's long ridge, you see up the Buffalo River Valley to layered green hillsides and distant blue ridge lines. LOCATION Sky Hawk is just off US 65 on the north side of the Buffalo River. Restaurants, canoe rentals and river access points at Grinders Ferry, Gilbert and Tyler Bend are less than ten minutes away, but at Sky Hawk you’re secluded and surrounded by natural beauty, away from it all. The entrance is on the Gilbert Road (Hwy. 333), just 0.4 mile east of US 65. The cabin is at the end of a long drive, about 3/4 mile from the entry. Sited at the end of a prominent ridge, surrounded by meadow and framed by a trio of stately, old oaks, the house affords sweeping views up the river valley. The property has 3/4 mile of park frontage, and the Buffalo River Trail is just steps from the property corner. The park trail leads about a mile down to a long, wide gravel bar at Shine Eye Bluff -- the perfect spot to picnic, swim, fish or enjoy a lazy afternoon. (Shine Eye is also accessible by road, a five minute drive.) ACCOMMODATIONS Completed in September, 2023, this comfortable home has plenty of room for your family or two couples. Stunning architecture and tasteful furnishings make the house memorable in its own right. High dormer windows in the two-story living area and large windows in every room let you see forest and sky all around. The interior is sunny and uplifting, warm and inviting. Flanking the great room are two spacious bedroom suites. Separate bathrooms have large, walk-in showers. 703 Sky Hawk Drive is the newest of four vacation homes at Sky Hawk Ridge. The cabin is exactly as described, very clean, with lots of natural light and everything you may need during your stay. We started each day with coffee on the porch, listening to the birds, and ended it with a few rounds of horse shoes. The river at Grinder's Ferry was packed over the Fourth of July weekend, but we drove to Carver Campground and had it all to ourselves. The half-hour drive was well worth it. We stayed 3 nights with our dog, just walking the grounds, hiking the trails, watching birds from the back porch, reading and taking naps. Cabin 703 exceeded our expectations – the photos don't do it justice. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, including a thoughtful welcome basket for our four legged children. This was our third stay since 2023 at Sky Hawk Ridge but the first in this particular home on the property. And as expected, it was amazing! The property is just gorgeous, the pictures on the listing show the beauty but in person it’s even better. We visited the surrounding towns while there but just staying on the property and enjoying it was all we needed. We are already planning our next trip there. ##### Mindy H. The views were spectacular. The fully stocked kitchen had every utensil you would have in your own home. Can’t think of a better spot to have celebrated our anniversary. The owners thought of everything to ensure a comfortable perfect trip to the Buffalo River! The property is amazing- we saw deer, turkeys, and lightning bugs! It is very close to Buffalo River access points and the hiking trails on the property are nice so you don’t have to leave unless you want to!
