The best part of the resort is definitely the pools. There are so many of them, plus slides and waterpark areas, so there’s always something to do. It’s really great for kids, but even adults can enjoy just hanging out and relaxing. The staff were generally friendly and approachable, and we appreciated how welcoming they were. The room was spacious enough, though, it could use a little bit more cleaning. Some parts of the resort could use a little maintenance, but nothing that completely ruined the stay. Main downside: service can be a bit slow which was surprising considering they weren’t busy (our drinks came out after 30 mins of placing our order and waited over an hour for our food to come out), alot of the restaurant employees were just chatting and on their phones. Overall, Solea is a good choice if you’re looking for a fun, budget-friendly resort with lots of activities. Just don’t expect a super luxurious or fast service resort." For the age of the hotel, I would be concerned on the upkeep of the property as the wallpaper in the hallways is peeling off and bubbling. The glass door to the shower did not seal properly, leaving the floor very wet after a shower. Overall, it was a great property to stay at for 4 nights while in Cebu."
