Soft items like the living room couch and chair and the mattresses could use a refresh. The cottage has a nice kitchen, a new grill and a washer dryer for convenience. It’s a quiet spot with only houses on this beach. It is a rocky beach so bring your beach shoes, but waking to beautiful sunrises every day is amazing. This property is all about the location. This is where you go to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Sitting on the deck watching the birds and occasionally a small whale basking in the bay. We collected seashells and seaglass at low tide on the beach and looked up at the sky full of stars at night. It was perfect waking up and having coffee on the deck every morning. There's also plenty to do in the area should the weather not cooperate. The home itself is very clean, slightly rustic, but in a good way. Nostalgic. Barbecue a nice feature. The kitchen and bath were great, WiFi strong and stable. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, a comfortable distance from shops and restaurants. Could not imagine a nicer place for a quiet family vacation at the beach. We loved it. ##### Gerald D. It was the perfect prescription for a lingering case of covid blues.
