Excellent communication prior to our arrival and they allocated the room early and left out key in a keysafe for our later arrival. The room was very comfortable and lovely and warm when it was storm Benjamin outside! The bathroom was very clean with a lovely hot shower. We enjoyed the breakfast overlooking the airfield prior to our departure. This hotel is very convenient for the motorway and local area. We will definitely be back as this is an ideal stop...

"Perfect base for exploring the village which is beautiful and has a fantastic choice of restaurants. Our room was very comfortable and had a spacious balcony. The property and grounds are lovely and we particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden with a cocktail after a fun day exploring - which we enjoyed so much we extended our stay by another night! We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant due to all the choice in the village - however we would probably do next time we stay - as we will be back!"

Being returning guests, who enjoy the village and surrounding area, are aware that if you are unable to check-in before the restaurant closes for lunch time service, you have to wait until 18.00hrs when restaurant re opens for evening service to check-in, though there is a phone number on the door. Expedia on their confirmation says you can check-in anytime from 14.00hrs."

La Cour d'Hortense"Lovely property. Extremely helpful staff! We had a misunderstanding and did not get the room we thought we were getting, but we stayed anyway and it turned out well. We ordered a charcuterie board and a bottle of wine which were delicious! The breakfast is also very good. The only small negative was some of the lawn furniture was a bit dirty. Definitely recommend."
